The Digital Cinema Society & Mac Filmmakers present
Sony CineAlta - From EX3 to F35

Meeting Agenda:
The Digital Cinema Society Northern California Chapter will partner with MacFilmmakers to present a joint meeting covering a wide variety in the Sony CineAlta Camera Line.
Presenters include DCS Advisory Board members Adam Wilt and Art Adams, who with the help of Leigh Blicher from San Francisco rental house VideoFax, will show off the new F35 CineAlta and cover such subjects as Sony S-Log and Hypergammas. They will also present footage, including a spec spot they recently shot with VideoFax's F35.
Representatives from Sony including Shahpour Nosrati-Fard will also give a presentation on the EX3 CineAlta and Bob Lofland will demo Sony Display products including the BVM L230 LCD HD Master Series Monitor which will be used to show off the F35 imagery. Representatives from VMI will also be present to answer questions.
DCS Northern California President Simon Sommerfeld, VP Trudi Melohn, and MacFilmmakers’ Kevin Johnson, will share moderating duties.
Location Details:
“Garage 1” at Apple Inc., 1 Infinite Loop, Building 4, Cupertino CA, 95014. Google Map the address, and once you are looking at the map, Building 4 is at the top right of the "loop", up towards the freeway. (This is the main Apple campus and has 6 interconnected buildings all encircled by the oval-shaped Infinite Loop street.) Parking is adjacent, plentiful, and free.
Meeting Time:
Doors open at 6:30 pm, meeting begins at 7:00 pm sharp. Arrive early for the best seats.

Pizza, cookies, and soft drinks will be provided at the half-time break.
Raffle tickets will be on sale on site - with prizes donated from Sony, VideoFax, VMI, DVDxDV, and Litepanels . Tickets are $2 each so bring some cash to be in to win.

The Digital Cinema Society (DCS) is a non-profit educational cooperative dedicated to educating and informing the entertainment industry about digital motion picture production, post, delivery, and exhibition.
Mac Filmmakers are a user group located in Silicon Valley. Our mission is to help filmmakers of all levels develop high quality content using a Macintosh-based workflow. While an emphasis of MacFilmmakers is post-production with Final Cut Studio, we also look at the entire production cycle from project development through distribution.
